Welcome to the Mitzvah Day registration page! Here you will find all the information you need about Mitzvah Day 2011 and an easy-to-use registration form at the bottom of the page. Mitzvah Day Waiver

I understand that I am spending the day as a volunteer on projects organized by Beth Israel with non-profit groups across Greater Houston. I understand that I am responsible for my behavior and I will only perform volunteer work that I feel comfortable doing. I agree to release Beth Israel from any and all claims that may arise as a result of any expenses, personal injury, loss or damage incurred by me during my participation in Mitzvah Day.

Bo's Place is a bereavement center offering grief support services to children, ages 3 to 18, and their families who have experienced the death of a child or an adult in their immediate family, as well as programs for grieving adults.

Buffalo Bayou Partnership

Casa de Esperanza

Casa de Esperanza is a safe place for children in crisis due to abuse,neglect or the effects of HIV. Casa de Esperanza provides residential,medical and psychological care according to the needs of each child.

The Goldberg Bínai Bírith Towers is a HUD (U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development),subsidized apartment project for the elderly who need the features of an architecturally designed unit. There are two nine (9) story towers with a total of 300 units

The Houston Area Women's Center has been a member of the community since 1977 and part of the United Way family since 1981. Over the years,we have grown from a grassroots effort run by volunteers to an organization employing over 120 staff.
